Kota dinner in the heart of our reindeer farm is an extraordinary dining experience that opens a door to a tasty and fascinating journey into the local cuisine, life of the reindeer herders and Sámi culture.
Our evening starts from the reindeer corral, where you get to feed the reindeer with your local guide. After spending unhurried moment with the reindeer, your guide will lead you to charming kota, where you will hear intense drumming and calming joik (form of Sámi music) performed by Sámi farm hostess, Anu.
After the storytelling and joiking session you will be treated with lovely turnip soup, smoked salmon and homemade bread followed by reindeer stew and mash potatoes. After enjoying the main course, you may fry your own pancake on the fire and enjoy your pancke with whipped cream and cloudberries. A limited selection of beverages are available for purchase on the spot.
